Learning how to write

I had a client tell me writing felt hard.

That maybe AI could help, but it was missing the mark on their ideas, their personality, their leadership style.

So I recommended they write every day, just like I do here.

It’s hard, the words have no direct business function, they’re not written to be seen nor promoted.

They’re written because they help me process my thoughts, and maybe—just maybe—they can help someone else process theirs.

I told him that years of practice will sharpen his thinking, speed up his ideas, and indirectly grow his business.

But that writing would always feel hard. Because it’s supposed to.

We’ll see if he picks up the habit.

Certainly, if he wants to share his thoughts online through writing, he could do much worse than simply learning how to write.
