Parties vs Community get-togethers

What’s the difference between a party and a community get-together?

A party is normally a place where folks go to stick with their clique, show their face and consume what’s there. We have a one-way relationship with parties.

A community get-together is a place where folks go to love on their people, relish every moment and contribute as much as they can. We have a two-way relationship with these.

I’m not big on parties. But I LOVE community get-togethers.

We have the opportunity to treat our work like a party (something for people to consume and review) or like a community get-together (a place for people to contribute and improve with you).
